InfraGloves are shooting gloves designed to reduce the thermal signature of the hands while maintaining protection, dexterity and control when handling a weapon.
The back of the glove is made of a low-emissivity material that suppresses thermal hotspots visible in thermal imaging. Combined with InfraGhillie, they help reduce the shooter's overall thermal profile, as the hands are among the most prominent parts of the body when observed in the LWIR spectrum.
The gloves are equipped with rubberized knuckle protection that protects when moving in the field, climbing or contacting obstacles. The palm is reinforced with a multi-layer anti-slip panel for a sure grip. The index finger has a thinned sensitive area for precise trigger control. All surfaces are designed for quiet operation and minimizing unwanted noise during movement. The gloves contain FR-treated fabric, but are not intended for contact with hot parts of the weapon.
InfraGloves are most effective during nighttime movement, reconnaissance, and in situations where the operator may be monitored by thermal imaging or IR sensors carried by UAVs. They reduce contrast on the back of the hand, thereby limiting the visibility of movements when handling a weapon, working with a map, adjusting equipment, or leaning against the terrain.
