InfraScrim is an ultra-light modular camouflage belt designed to reduce the thermal and visual signature of weapons and equipment. Each belt measures 60 x 8 cm and has two functional sides:
Side A is multispectral and helps reduce the IR contrast of heated parts of the weapon after firing.
Side B carries a classic camouflage pattern for environments where visual blending with the surroundings is a priority.
The belt can be cut, threaded through the MOLLE system or connected into longer units using hexagonal cutouts.
Each package contains three belts that can be used separately or interconnected. The modular geometry allows the use of InfraScrim on forends, barrel heat shields and other heated parts of the weapon without limiting ventilation or the function of mechanical parts. The belt can also be shortened into smaller segments to create a scrim effect on equipment, helmets or backpacks.
In practice, InfraScrim prevents the weapon from appearing as a compact “hot block” in thermal imaging after firing. It breaks up the thermal contour and reduces the contrast against the background. In the visual spectrum, it disrupts the silhouette of the weapon and helps it blend in with the surrounding terrain. InfraScrim is suitable for patrolling, reconnaissance, OP positions and quick improvised ghillie-type camouflage in the field.
